Mini Sculptures of Famous Characters Carved Into Crayon Tips

Bryan Edmiston, who takes 911 calls for a living, has been carving wonderful mini sculptures of pop culture characters into crayons after work for the last year.


His incredibly detailed creations often feature more than a single color- extra colors are added to the pieces by applying melted wax.

So far, he has made tiny sculptures of famous characters like Walter White of Breaking Bad, Snoopy, the Pacman gang and even The Beatles, as depicted on their Abbey Road album art.

According to Edmiston, he tries to carve things that "innocent and joyful, things that people have fond memories of", as a "counterpoint" to the bad things that he comes across in his day job.
