They approached Los Angeles based illustrator Truck Torrence, also known as 100% soft, to design a set of Star Wars emojis. This resulted in the first three emojis of C-3PO, BB-8 and the new Stormtrooper, released specially for the Star Wars Celebration in April, earlier this year.
The project has since culminated in 52 emojis, just updated on the Star Wars app, which include characters from The Force Awakens, the original and prequel trilogies and Star Wars Rebels.
