Israel based designer Roy Harpaz has come up with an elegant and sleek new vertical design for a record player that effortlessly combines futuristic design and retro function in an egg shaped package.


Unlike the traditional turntables we're used to, this one plays the record vertically, almost putting it on display. By scanning through a record, the player can find different points in the song, allowing listeners to skip tracks. This, along with the remote, helps make it a modern home device, though the wooden panel on the front gives it a retro appeal nonetheless.
