Band to Watch Spotlight: Dead Sara
It's no secret I LOVE this band- hell I love them so much I use their song, Monumental Holiday, as part of my opening to Dirty Glitter! Music history is rich with rock bands fronted by a yin-yang duo and Dead Sara have set out to carry out this vital tradition (minus the drama that such chemistry often fuels). Singer Emily Armstrong and guitarist Siouxsie Medley are an electrifying rock outfit whose supercharged music is propelled by Medley's monster riffs and Armstrong's wailing and passionate vocals.
